Emmanuel Baptist Church - Oshawa

Special Announcement

We thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement as we navigate this unprecedented situation.  Pastor Paul can be contacted from our "contact us" page or over the phone. God is ALWAYS listening and can be reached any time!

Service Changes

Our regular programs have been put on hold for now out of an abundance of caution. This includes all children's programs and weekly adult programs.

The church will be open for prayer, as well as answering any questions you may have on Sunday morning from 10:00AM to 1:00PM and on Tuesday from Noon to 2:00PM. We will be respecting the advice of health authorities on physical distancing and stepping up our flu season protocols by disinfecting common "high touch" surfaces more often. If you are ill or have any flu symptoms you should stay home and follow the advice of the local health authorities. When the weather is great we will gather outside on Sunday mornings for worship. You can still park your car on the property and listen to our radio station mentioned below.

Sunday morning at 11:00AM we will have an online sermon and worship with a link from our website. The special page will be active fifteen minutes before the service. Make sure you refresh your web browser at that time.

We are very aware that not everyone has access to the internet or has enough data in their cell phone plan to view the whole service. We do not want to shut anyone out. We have provided the option of parking your vehicle at the church and using our new WIFI access to view the service from the comfort of your car. You can also use the open park area behind the church to sit and listen using your device from there.

Another option is to use your radio in your car or phone or any other device that has an FM antenna and tune in to 90.9 FM to hear the service. We will have someone available on site to provide assistance if needed. The broadcast can be heard from anywhere on the church property.

Please be patient with us as we use some of these "new" technologies to serve our community. Your comments are always welcome!
